Turkey is not A very diverse place people are not used to seeing races other than their own so naturally, they’ll be shocked and a little alarmed you know better what happened with that woman in the store, but I can say as a white American with blue eyes and blonde hair living in Turkey I experienced the same things it’s not about whether you’re black it’s that you’re different than what they are used to so maybe it’s more xenophobic rather than racism if that makes sense.
